This Is the Most Important Page on This Website.
The greatest question you will ever face is not where you will work, how much money you will make, or how long you will live.
The greatest question is this: Are you ready to meet God?
One day, every one of us will step out of this life and into eternity. That is why the matter of salvation is urgent.
Are you ready to meet God?
Salvation is not a small matter. It is not a religious hobby. It is the difference between being lost and being forgiven, between judgment and mercy, between spiritual death and eternal life.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23The Problem: You Are a Sinner Before a Holy God
The Bible teaches that all have sinned.
Sin is not only the “big” things. Sin is any time we break God’s law in thought, word, or deed — what we do, what we say, and what we love.
Romans 3:23 — “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”
Sin separates us from God, and it carries a penalty.
Romans 6:23 — “For the wages of sin is death…”
That includes not only physical death, but eternal judgment.
God is loving, but God is also holy and just. He does not ignore sin. If He did, He would not be righteous.
That means you and I are not basically good people who need a little improvement. We are guilty sinners before a holy God. We have broken His law in thought, word, deed, motive, and desire. We have not loved Him as we should. We have not lived for His glory. We have gone our own way.
Sin is not a small thing, because God is not a small God.
He is holy, righteous, and just. He will not ignore sin. His judgment is real. Hell is real. Eternity is real.
That is the bad news.
But the Gospel does not end with the bad news. God, in His mercy, made a way for sinners to be forgiven.
The Good News: God Made a Way
The good news is that God, in His mercy, made a way for sinners to be forgiven.
God did something for you that you could never do for yourself. He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, who lived a sinless life and then died on the cross as a substitute for sinners. He was buried, and He rose again.
“Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
1 Corinthians 15:3–4God’s love is not a vague feeling. God proved His love with a cross.
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8Jesus Christ — Yeshua, in Hebrew — the Son of God, came into the world. He lived the sinless life that we have not lived. He willingly gave Himself to be crucified, was buried, and rose again the third day.
He was seen alive again by His disciples for forty days and by over five hundred people at one time. He fulfilled the prophecies concerning the first coming of the Messiah, including details surrounding His suffering and death. Then He ascended into heaven while His disciples watched.
Jesus did not die for His own sins, because He had none. He died as the substitute for guilty people. He took the punishment that sinners deserve, and He rose again in victory.
This is the heart of the Gospel.
But the fact that Christ died for all does not mean that all are automatically saved. Scripture teaches that a person must be born again. It is not enough merely to know facts about Jesus. Even the demons believe certain facts and tremble. Jesus Christ must be personally received.
What Cannot Save You
You cannot save yourself. No amount of effort can erase guilt before God.
How a Person Is Saved
A person is saved by coming to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith.
Stop Defending Your Sin
You come honestly to God as a guilty sinner. You stop making excuses and stop pretending that sin is a small thing.
Stop Trusting Yourself
You stop hiding behind religion, outward appearances, good intentions, or personal effort. You cannot save yourself.
Trust Christ Alone
You place your trust in Jesus Christ alone to save you. Repentance is a real turning of the heart toward God. Faith is true reliance upon Christ.
To be saved is not merely to agree with facts about Jesus. It is to come to Him.
What You Should Do
If God is dealing with your heart, do not push Him away.
Come to Christ now.
You do not know whether this moment is your last opportunity to get right with God.
Call upon Him from your heart. Confess your sin. Acknowledge your guilt. Believe the Gospel. Ask Him for mercy. Trust Him fully, because He sees you and hears you wherever you are.
You May Pray Words Like These
“Lord, I know that I am a sinner. I deserve judgment, and I cannot save myself. I believe that Jesus Christ died for sinners and rose again. I turn from trusting in myself, and I place my trust in Christ alone. Please forgive me, save me, and change me. Help me to follow You in truth. Amen.”
Those words are not magic. A prayer does not save by itself, just as baptism does not save by itself. God sees the heart. The issue is whether you have truly come to Jesus Christ.
Mark 16:16 teaches that belief is central, and baptism is the outward confession of that faith. Saving faith leads to obedience.

Final Appeal
Do not gamble with your soul.
Rest in Jesus Christ alone.
Make sure you understand the Gospel. Make sure you have truly come to Him. Make sure you are ready for eternity.
If You Have Truly Come to Christ
If you have sincerely come to Christ, then according to the Word of God, He has forgiven your sins, made you a new creature, brought you into the family of God, and given you eternal life.
The Spirit of God now lives in you and will work in you to give you both the desire and the power to please Him. You have been brought out of darkness and into the kingdom of God. You now belong to the Lord.
That also means the Christian life is a real walk and a real battle. But you do not walk it alone. God is faithful. He will help you, strengthen you, teach you, and keep working in your life as you follow Him.
If you have truly been born again, there will be a desire in you to follow Jesus Christ.
